The fine print

Terms of Use

Last updated: June 18, 2026.

Plain-language terms for a small, founding-stage community. By creating an account you agree to these and to the Privacy Policy.

1. Your account

You sign in with an email magic link or GitHub, handled by our auth provider (Supabase). You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person, one account. Be a real human.

2. What you post

You must own, or have the rights to share, everything you upload: images, video, audio, text, and links. Do not post anything illegal, infringing, malicious, or harmful. If you put a file here, you are confirming it is yours to share.

3. You keep your work

You keep ownership of everything you create and upload. You grant Gamewrights Guild a limited license to store and display your content on the platform so the site can do its job (show your showcase, your builds, and your messages to the people they are meant for). That license ends when you remove the content or your account.

4. How your media is shown

Uploaded media is shown to other users according to its context: profile and public build media is visible to anyone; workshop attachments are visible only to the two people in that workshop. We do not sell your work.

5. The code of conduct applies

Idea-theft is the line we care about most: lifting someone's posted concept and passing it off as your own is not allowed. No harassment, no dogpiling. The manifesto (the code) is part of these terms.

6. We can remove content and accounts

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms or the code of conduct, especially infringing uploads or harmful behavior. We will try to be fair and human about it.

7. No warranty

The platform is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. It is a small, early project. We do our best, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
